The 2-series is actually very large in person, in width, girth, and length. 228ix, auto.

That is the only modern non-Z4 BMW that is smaller than my 7- series.

Only 5 inches shorter in length and 2 inches taller in height than an e92. Essentialy the same width.

The proportions are awful too. Someone suggested I test drive one the other day. No thanks.

Yeah and the 4-Series looks even more overweight =P
FWIW the color in the pics looks kinda looks like that unicorn E36 M3/4 color, Byzanz

How is the trunk space on these? It looks rather minimal.

It certainly appears small from the outside. Google says its 13+ cubic feet of space. I don’t know how that compares to competitors.

Wasn’t too much bigger than my 1

That does raise a good question. What all is in its class. I can only think of the Cascada and that has the same trunk size. It is over double the Miata’s. BrZ is 7 with the rear seats up or something like that.

Maybe not the exact same, but it reminds of the fun orange you can get with the first gen X1 (... I like the first gen X1)

There are no small cars in the us, only cars smaller than big ones

Conversely, my pickup is surprisingly longer than a 2nd gen Highlander. Although it is probably several feet narrower.

I’ve never owned a vehicle with a trunk, so I’m not sure what’s good and what’s not good. My wife’s Sable’s trunk could fit about six dead hookers, though.

There is still.

It’s a worse looking, worse handling, worse steering E92 at the same weight.

Your truck is probably narrower than some new compact cars. Or maybe most, it’s be awhile since I seen one of those in person.

I was going to say “compared to what”, but then I remembered you drive an ancient Toyota compact, which is actually small.
I think it is bigger than both my Fiero and my brother’s Miata.
